Singapore takes a lot of pride in its urban planning, development and vision for the future. Marina Bay Gallery is the second large-scale exhibit of the downtown and Marina Bay areas I’ve come across in the three weeks I’ve been here (see my post titled Singapore City Gallery). This gallery was made cooler by the fact that we got to see it at night so the lights and colors were really vibrant. There’s a touch screen around the whole model so you can touch a building or landmark you want to see (like the Flyer) and it lights up from within. It’s great to see a city get behind its architecture — what’s happening here is futuristic, groundbreaking and always interesting to look at.
