Thanks so much, Abrie! I agree — the people add something that makes those photos more interesting, and maybe mysterious. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts.

What fabulous photos Kelly! The first and the Vietnam crop field are my favourites. And the one from Borneo – I have a pic of the same thing from a beach in Oz. So many memories for me in this post.

Hey! Thanks, Alison! Love knowing your favorites. Aren’t those little sand balls so amazing? Imagine doing that every day outside your house! Just emailed you. Hope to see you Saturday. Sorry for the delayed reply. Was trying to be enlightened at Wanderlust. Not sure I succeeded!

This is such great eye candy!! Texture is everything – can’t imagine life without it but you get a clue when you see a home interior that is all slick and soul-less.

Thanks, Mum! We are so not slick.

Nice. I assume there was a body of water near all those perfect skipping rocks in NZ?

Yes, Dave! A big, blue, beautiful ocean just to the left of the stones! Great to hear from you. Hope you’re enjoying summer. 🙂

Amazing textures. The photos are outstanding. I appreciate your labeling each photo with the origin country. Great blog post.

Thank you, Timelesslady! Steve McCurry always labels his photos with the country of origin. I love trying to guess them before I read them. Thanks for your comment!

Textures are one of my favorite photography obsessions as well. Yours are all awesome – I think I like the incense sticks best!
