Annecy
August 30th, 2020
Today, a simple photo of Annecy ~ one of my favorite villages in France. This photo was captured on a stormy night in 2009. The Tour de France stopped in Annecy for individual time trial races around the lake. The Tour de France is a team sport (eight riders per team) but a fast individual time trial can propel a rider farther up in the standings and even onto the podium.
Tomorrow, we’ll take a quick tour around Annecy.
Until then,
Kelly

Nice picture of a pretty city.

Thanks for bringing back memories of our one and only visit to Annecy in the early 70’s. It’s so long ago I can’t even remember the date 🤔 Look forward to revisiting it with you later.

So cool that you’ve been there! It probably hasn’t changed much since the ’70s — the old town anyway. Would have loved to see it back then. Wearing bell bottoms, of course. 🙂 Très chic! 🙂
