Marylebone Blooms

Summer Blooms in Marylebone

Summer Blooms in Marylebone

September 4th, 2020

After yesterday’s stop at Stonehenge, we’ve put away the magic carpet and hitched a ride on the train to London.

I lived in London from January, 2006 to May, 2007. It seems like a lifetime ago but scenes like this bring back memories of pub life and the central role that neighborhood pubs play in life and culture in the U.K. The pub is the heart of every neighborhood — the place to meet up, catch up, tuck into Sunday roast and enjoy some time together whenever football (soccer) is on the telly.

Tomorrow, I’m sharing a post from 2015 about a few of my favorite, off-the-beaten-path things to see and experience in London.

Until then,
Kelly
