Seaplane Over Vancouver
October 5th, 2020
Before relocating from Canada in spring of 2018, I was given the gift of a seaplane flight over Vancouver. In a mere 30 minutes, the plane departed from the harbor, crossed over the Lion’s Gate Bridge and Stanley Park, turned north to the Sea to Sky Highway, circled closely over snow-covered West Lion mountain and returned to the harbor for the water landing. What a view! What a trip! A perspective of Vancouver I won’t forget.
More tomorrow ~ including some exciting news!

Wow, this is what I didn’t get a chance to do when I was in Vancouver, thanks for giving me the opportunity.

Fabulous thing to do! 🙂 🙂 A friend’s daughter is working in the city and she was desperate to get out there to see her , but of course, it hasn’t happened.

Oh, too bad! Vancouver is a very fun city to visit. Lots to do and so much wilderness just 45 minutes away and beyond. Hope she gets to go eventually!

She was doing the full coast to coast of Canada 😦 😦

Oh, WOW! That’s quite a trip! And surely quite a disappointment. I hope she still gets to go someday.

Gorgeous. What a shame we can’t turn the clock back a couple of years and say “Hey let’s have coffee”. Hopefully you’ll be back 💕

I know! It would have been so nice to have some friends across the bridge, meet up at Granville, etc.! We’ll definitely be back to visit eventually. Hopefully sooner than later and we can meet up. Can’t wait!

Beautiful photos, it must give a great feeling to fly low over the waters, or over those icy mountains … Just like they show in some of the Nat Geo documentaries…

It was a little scary being so close to the snowy mountains and I had never done a water landing before either. Beautiful views everywhere!

Beautiful countryside. Every time I’ve been through Vancouver I’ve seen those planes taking off and landing, and have thought it’d be a blast to have a ride. Thanks for the peek.

Anywhere else the idea of a seaplane would be absurd… but not in BC. Splendid photos.
