Balinese Fire Dancers
November 21st, 2020
After sunset at the beach, tonight you’re in for a fiery show by a quartet of Balinese dancers. I captured these photos in 2015 at a wedding reception for two close friends. In traditional dress against the tropical background, these dancers created a spectacular visual of fire and heat. Enjoy the show!
More tomorrow from Uluwatu.
Until then,
Kelly

This is quite some show! Just to think the amount of training they would have gone through. The last performer super awesome, that lady is a human sparkler 🎆

LOL, yes! Human sparkler! Well said! She was the finale to the show and a great one at that.

Not easy to take these pictures in the dark and with movement, but it gives a good idea of the show. Thank you for sharing this special moment on your friends’ big day.

It was fun to try to photograph. That I captured anything worthy was a bonus and a stroke of luck! Such a fun day.
