After yesterday’s ski odyssey, I’m staying with the winter theme. Here’s a photo from exactly two years ago — a very snowy season in the Sierra. This view from Heavenly Resort gives you an idea of just how big and blue Lake Tahoe is, hence the nickname for this vast, cold wonder. So much has changed in two years, but the lake remains as deep and blue as ever.
