Cambodia Collage
February 8th, 2021
After yesterday’s post about Cambodia, today’s collage includes colors, scenes and textures to paint yet another picture of life in and around Siem Reap. Be sure to click on the photo of the little girl who was wearing the most inventive big leaf sun shade I’ve seen anywhere in the world. Simple, genius.
Tomorrow we’re back on the magic carpet in preparation for the next big date on the calendar.
See you then,
Kelly
Post of the Day: Adding a bit of light to the darkness as we get through the pandemic together. This series features travel photos from my archives, shared with you while staying close to home.
Such a lovely series, Kelly! Wouldn’t I love to be there 🙂 🙂 Had to look twice at the butterflies!

Thanks, Jo! Me too. Would go in a heartbeat. We saw the butterflies on our sweaty jungle hike. 🙂

Terrific job of telling the Siem Reap story in a single series. Have been playing around with collages and this one must have really taken some serious work! Beautifully done.

Thanks Tina! Yeah, the collage feature is handy but can be challenging to get it just right. It did take a couple of tries and lots of rearranging.

A wonderful gallery Kelly and that little girl is a star. As to the leaf, as you can imagine I would love one of those. 😊

Colors, scenes, textures, and LIGHT! The sunniness, even in the muted versions, just jumps off the screen.

True! So bright, especially on a dull and dreary day here. Hoping for spring to come soon!

Found myself laughing at “So Yum.” Kelly. I assume that was your interpretation. –Curt

Ha! “So yum” has become a bit of a slang term I’ve picked up from friends and social media. I can’t take credit.

Well, it certainly has an Asian flavor to it. I could see a “So yum dim sum” marketing campaign. 🙂

Love the variety of shots here — and all the color. What a trip! We went to Siem Reap, but didn’t see the sights you saw. How glorious your collages are.

Thanks Rusha. The collage solution is great for random shots that don’t make it in the main post! Like pot luck, LOL! 🙂
