Time to hang the lanterns and stuff the hongbao! Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year, begins Friday.
Out with the rat, in with the ox! It is the year of the Metal Ox. The ox signifies strength, determination, action and hard work. Hopefully all of these merits will shepherd us through the final phase of the pandemic.
Today I’m sharing a handful of images of Chinese New Year decorations in Singapore. Tomorrow I’ll repost a pictorial from the occasion in 2013.
See you then,
Kelly
