Moonset at Lake Tahoe

Moonset at Lake Tahoe

February 18th, 2021

In honor of today’s totally galactic Mars landing (WOW!), here’s a pretty moonset at Lake Tahoe from exactly two years ago. It was 8:15 a.m., the moon was dipping, the sun was lighting the crest above Homewood, and Tahoe’s M.S. Dixie II was just waking up from her nightly slumber in Zephyr Cove.

Cheers to interplanetary travel and the rewards of long journeys… by land, sea and spacecraft.

More tomorrow,
Kelly
