On to the Alentejo
March 7th, 2021
Yesterday’s post was canned, so here’s a fresh view!
After virtually visiting the southern coast of Portugal, we’re heading inland to the Alentejo. This was a favorite home exterior I photographed while exploring a castle town called Monsaraz.
More tomorrow!

Monsaraz is fabulous! Even in the rain 🙂 🙂

Oooh, would be very moody in the rain! We lucked out with a blue sky that we didn’t get in Tavira. 🙂

What is simple can be beautiful, the perfect white, the climbing vine and this bench, as it should be pleasant sitting here and meditate on the world affairs.

Perfectly summarized, Lookoom. I was thinking the same thoughts as I posted and wanted to see if anyone else found the vine, the color and the bench as inviting. Of course you did. 🙂

That tree is great. Kudos to the home owner who decided on using it to decorate his/her house. It looks like a grape vine? –Curt

It does look like a grapevine that has been rooted there for some time, creating the perfect shade for the bench. A nice place to call home for a lucky resident!

Indeed. And a great place for a bird to call home!

With a beautiful vine climbing that pristine white wall, the lovely door and window and that space in front, this house is so eye catching classy! If only it also had a retro looking cycle leaning on that wall 🙂…

Oh, a cycle would be the icing on the cake!! What color? Maybe red or yellow…

Love that simple tree/vine against its perfect white wall also!

It seems to have universal appeal to everyone here. 🙂 And maybe we’re all just longing to get out of the house and see something foreign and beautiful like this little house.
