Nice, France
Mon dieu… Nice, France. Quelle beauté! Our love of France deepens with each day we spend here. We arrived one week ago, planting ourselves for a one-month stay to experience the Cote d’Azur. Such an idyllic location stuns with its colors and invites us outside every day for long walks on the Promenade des Anglais.
We’ve explored the antiques market, flower market and Libération market. We’ve climbed up to the Colline du Château and over to the Parc Honoré d’Estienne d’Orves. We ventured by train to Villefranche and Monaco! We’ll do it all again this week and head to the E-Prix on Saturday. Joie de vivre est ici. More posts to come!
Last October was my first visit to Nice. What a wonderful city. Loved Old Nice!!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful images and reminding me of my few days.

Such a beautiful city. No surprise you are enjoying it so much. Have you been to the Chagall National Museum and the Musee Matisse yet? For a treat drive to Ez and have breakfast at the Chateau Eza: https://wp.me/p3gSod-hJ and then lunch on the quayside at Villefranche-sur-mer. Happy travels 🙂

I would love to spend some time in Nice, where my husband has family. But he dislikes the Côte d’Azur from childhood memories, and so we have never made it there. Your photos make me want to go. One day!!!

Never been there, but it looks pretty heavenly! Malta whetted my appetite for Europe (maybe you too?), and I can’t think of a better place to spend a month in springtime. Enjoy every bit of it!

This looks pretty special. I’ve not seen that much of France, but Nice sure looks nice, and Monaco – that must have been amazing. Have a great time at the E-Prix!

Nice place to visit. I was there once, briefly, back in 1980, and mostly remember getting lost for a couple hours. Time for some new memories, maybe, but for now I’ll enjoy yours, vicariously.

Such a glorious weather over a beautiful city! I love places with good beach promenades, and Nice seems to have a really good one. Enjoy your stay in southern France, Kelly!

It’s a beautiful part of France, and it’s no coincidence that many of the richest people go there. It is still a little far from Paris by TGV for short stays. Enjoy your time and thank you for the inspiring posts.

This post brings back some cherished memories from the late 80s/early 90s. Nice, Toulon, Marseille, and especially Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. 🙂 Thank you!
