Photos of the Day
Today I took oodles of pictures at THE MALL. It’s not just any mall — it’s Marina Bay Sands so you can assume anything worth photographing is going to be big, beautiful and way over the top. Or under the top, as is the case with these Chinese New Year decorations. Lanterns, flowers and big swaths of fabric are hanging from the arched steel and glass ceiling, creating fun photographic compositions. I won’t bore you with all of them — just a handful, with some escalators thrown in for scale at the end. These are some ginormous holiday decorations! Elf 2?! Where is Will Ferrell when I need him? I see a flower ball and a giant tassel in his future.

Sharing some big and beautiful inspiration from the lovely Compass & Camera Blog via Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Mall. Love those fabric sweeps and that massive, gorgeous pomander! Thanks for sharing so much beauty, Kelly!!

These would be so perfect for Cee’s Fun Foto challenge this week (red). In fact, I thought they were an entry at first glance. Great shots!
