Moon Shadow, Moon Shadow
Hiding, eclipsed, unnoticed … the moon rose in near secrecy last night until a rusty shadow revealed its presence above the skyline beyond my balcony. I saw the moon for the first time as a sphere suspended in space rather than a bright disk of light pressed against the sky. Somehow this subtle change made our galaxy, our moon, our place within the stars more tangible for me. What a wonderful thing! I only wish the moon had a more majestic name, of which it is so deserving.
Fabulous photos Kelly.
