More fall! Nature speaks in deep reds and golden yellows at Stanley Park and Pacific Spirit Regional Park in Vancouver. Leaves are like confetti, celebrating the end of another summer.

Enjoy! Tomorrow we’re back on the magic carpet, on our way to the next destination.

Repost of the Day: Adding a bit of light to the darkness as we get through the pandemic together. This series features travel photos from my archives, shared with you while staying close to home.

The beauty of Stanley Park and Pacific Spirit Regional Park speaks silently. An entire season’s story unfolds in broad strokes of fall color knit with smaller discoveries like spider webs and mushrooms. Walking the quiet trails, it’s easy to imagine what the native landscape of Vancouver looked like a few hundred years ago when the Squamish and Musqueam people lived here. Much has changed since then, but the golden hues of autumn remain and feeling tiny among tall trees surely holds as much magic for me as it has for every person who has ever explored these lands.
