Sunset of the Week
December 5th, 2020
It was a “Pull over!” kind of sunset on Thursday. I was driving home along the east shore of Lake Tahoe. It started out as a pretty golden glow on the water and, in 15 minutes, exploded into a fiery swath across the sky. I pulled over to capture it and everyone else did, too. For a few relieving minutes of 2020, the sky was the only thing that mattered.

Such a lively sunset, such rich gradients of vivid colours! And the way the colours suddenly give way to the gray is unusual, it’s like all the colours of the sky for washed into the horizon.

Thanks, Deb! Yes, the colors were off the charts and not color corrected or enhanced one bit. The reflection was a bonus. I was happy to be at a place along the road where I could see the lake and the sky equally. Serendipity!
