Travel Challenge Accepted
January 10th, 2021
With Morocco behind us, today we’re moving on to something new.
Last week, Lisa at Micro of the Macro nominated me to participate in the 10-day Travel Challenge. Thank you, Lisa!
The challenge is simple: post one favorite photo from your travels, no explanation required, for 10 days and nominate other 10 other bloggers to participate. I’m going to bend the rules a little and encourage anyone who wants to participate to join in the challenge. Filling the internet with favorite travel photos will give us hope for 2021 and inspire us to visit new places.
My photo today is from Bagan, captured as I was walking through Sulamani Guphaya temple.
Tomorrow, the challenge takes us to Vietnam.
Until then,
Kelly
Photo of the Day: Adding a bit of light to the darkness as we get through the pandemic together. This series features travel photos from my archives, shared with you while staying close to home.
Those gates are beautiful, and don’t they frame him nicely? 🙂 🙂

Aren’t they beautiful? I was just walking by and there it all was with the graceful sound of sweeping accompanying everything. A moment of unexpected beauty.

Awesome shot ~ Bagan…a great place and takes me back to a beautiful time. The framing of the sweeper, ornate gate, and the golden glow, one of those perfect photos. Cheers to a new year of adventures…hopefully at some point 🙂

Thank you! This was another scene I was lucky to just walk into. With the scrolled iron gate between me and the sweeper, and the arched doorway, it literally stopped me in my tracks. But then again, everything in Bagan is beautiful. I’m sure you would agree. 🙂 And yes, MORE adventures!!
