Double Hockey Sticks
February 19th, 2021
After yesterday’s winter moonset in Lake Tahoe, we’re sticking around for the weekend. Do you know why? The NHL plays two Winter Classic games here at Edgewood Tahoe Resort (10 minutes from my house) on Saturday and Sunday. The first game is at noon tomorrow (Pacific time) on NBC. Watch for live views of my beautiful Lake Tahoe neighborhood!
Happy weekend and double hockey sticks!

Post of the Day: Adding a bit of light to the darkness as we get through the pandemic together. This series features travel photos from my archives, shared with you while staying close to home.
Action packed weekend then! That would be ice hockey at this time right?
Your neighborhood is truely very beautiful, love those ducks swimming around in those beautiful waters.

Hey Deb! Yes, ice hockey. 🙂 Unfortunately it was a bit too hot on the first day. The games had to be rescheduled for the evening. Great to hear from you!

Beautiful, Kelly! Nice to have an event in Tahoe for a change. Hopefully people are staying safe and not messing up beautiful Tahoe. I think about where I live now in Spokane and how it has always reminded me of the lake Tahoe area. I miss NorCal and Tahoe but I feel like I live in it every day now! Enjoy the hockey!

Thanks Terri! The hockey didn’t go as planned, thanks to the sun. And it was strange without spectators, too. But still a busy weekend in Tahoe. People come here to get away from the pandemic but it’s here too and just makes things more challenging. Hopefully with cases decreasing and vaccinations, things are finally improving for good. Hope your weekend in Spokane was great!
